17th Annual Midwest Conference on Problem
Gambling and Substance Abuse

"Building Hope In Recovery"

June 17-19, 2020

As you know, currently COVID-19 is in a stage of community spread in the vast majority of states in the U.S. The MCPGSA urges you to exercise caution and to pay attention to your local Department of Public Health to know the status of the coronavirus in your local community and the best measures to take to stay safe. Currently, the MCPGSA team engages in telework and so we will continue to plan for the conference - it is difficult to know how this fluid pandemic situation will pan out over the coming months.

Planning for the annual Midwest Conference is still full steam ahead as we hope and expect things will have stabilized by late June 2020. More to come on extended cancellation policy if this is necessary. You can expect MCPGSA to make additional communications and planning steps to inform members and attendees. As the CDC has communicated, this is a fluid, uncertain situation and so MCPGSA will continue to collect as much information as possible to make projections into the short and long term planning process as we are able. That said, MCPGSA continues to move forward with our programs.

Please let us know if you have any questions and thanks for your support.
